So we are signing off for a few months as we get back to work in the studio finishing our next album which is slated for a June release.
The lead single will be launched at our first live gig in 5 years in Leicester May 4! We have big plans for this album with a film of the gig and videos for all 3 single releases and a change in direction musically. It all takes a lot of work with the songs being the easy part! We have already recored 5 songs with backing tracks done on another 3 and another 3 in work currently. Again we are working with the fabulous vocal talents of Angela with Matt at the helm of all things sound.
There are so many things to tell you about the new material but all in good time as I am under strict instruction from The Management to hold back and keep concentrating on what we all achieved in 2017.
I am so pleased with Introducing Angela – when I listen back to all the tracks I am immensely proud of all our work and the fun that we had that so clearly resonates it on and it will live in the ether as a testament to the talents of all involved. I have to sign off thanking Angela & Matt for all their musicality that continues to inspire me and help me to grow as an artist and to Debbie Drake for the album and single artworks, to BBC Introduces for embracing The Urban State and to Grant and his fabulous team at The Web Surgery for all the web, social media and promotional work he and they have undertaken.
